Raleigh care guide · The full bill

Read the whole bill before paying

If a low monthly figure catches your eye, ask what it pays for. A visit, a membership and a medicine are different lines on the bill.

Put the charges on separate lines

Ask for a written total. Keep the visit, recurring service fee, medicine, tests and delivery on separate lines. If a charge is included, ask what the word “included” covers.

Most national online weight-care services in the September 2026 review charged a monthly service fee. Medicine generally came with a separate charge.

These were advertised fees from a small group of national services, rather than prices for Raleigh clinics. Ask the service you are considering for its own monthly fee and medicine charge.

Drug-company prices when paying without insurance

As of September 2026, advertised drug-company prices for approved weight and diabetes medicines mostly ranged from about $149 to $499 per month when paying without insurance.

The price depended on the medicine and how much drug each pill or shot contained. Some offers charged more for a refill if it was ordered too late. For example, some Lilly offers required the next order within 45 days of the last delivery to keep the lower price.

The prices did not all cover the same supply. For example, Lilly used 28 days for a month, while a monthly bottle of Wegovy tablets held 30 tablets.

Ask whether you qualify for the offer, what date to order the next refill by and what it costs if you miss that date. Ask how many days or pills the quoted price covers. These prices are for medicine; ask about visit and service fees separately.

Offers have a time limit

Several starting offers and discount cards reviewed in September 2026 had terms ending on December 31, 2026.

An offer’s end date leaves the later price unknown. Ask what you would pay when the offer ends.
